Fifty years of facades

Thermosash Commercial Ltd is a New Zealand family-owned building envelope business founded by Laurie Hayes in 1973. Initially based in Auckland it steadily expanded into Wellington and Christchurch, winning significant projects such as the Twin Towers in Auckland, Te Papa Museum of New Zealand in Wellington and the IRD building in Cashel St Christchurch. Over the decades, Thermosash continued to win commercial projects that challenged and expanded the capabilities and expertise of facade design, manufacturing and installation. Thermosash continues to pursue the same innovative drive and passion for excellence that Laurie Hayes exemplified and looks forward to the next 50 years in the industry.

One of the favourite quotes from our CEO, "there is no future in being average" rings true for the entire Thermosash Group (Thermosash, Woods Glass, Insite Facades and WEC) with each company delivering world class solutions to the specific design building envelope industry in New Zealand and abroad.
