Our International Accreditation New Zealand registered window and curtainwall testing laboratory is the most modern and sophisticated in Australasia and can test to New Zealand, Australian, American, Singaporean and British Standards of performance. We are also equipped to carry out field tests in accordance with AAMA FC-1-76.
We also offer a service for existing buildings having defective window systems for which the client requires appropriate and effective remedial programmes (and often is extended to include the selectionand supervision of suitably skilled tradesmen to carry out the necessary activities) but can also be utilised for new building projects in order to ensure that products selected are appropriate to the application and satisfactory in use, thus avoiding costly delays to construction programmes or major inconvenience to tenants due to the performance of remedial works after occupation of the building.
Our clients include commercial builders, property developers, individual owners, Architects, Engineers, corporate tenant groups and companies involved in legal disputes requiring evidential submissions in Courts or Arbitration Chambers.
Recent projects completed include remedial works to I.C.I. House in Khyber Pass, Auckland; for St. Johns College Trust; supervision of window selection and installation at Regency Court apartments in St. Heliers Bay, Auckland on behalf of the Architect; remedial work to Whitaker Towers (an 11 storey office block) in Auckland for Fletcher Development & Construction Ltd; defect reporting at Takapuna Towers for C.C.L. Northcoast; defect reporting to three tower blocks for Brierley Properties; defect reporting for Receivers' Agents in several commercial buildings in order to prepare them for sale; reporting and advising to window manufacturers on appropriate remedial measures for their installed product.
We also provide technical engineering and general design services to fabricators throughout the nation and operate our window testing facilities from our Penrose site.
