Our Site Managers have overall responsibility for planning, executing and completing the façade installation on site. There are lots of moving parts so you’ll need to be incredibly organised to ensure each project runs smoothly.
Key responsibilties:
Execute the contract within the laid down cost and time restraints without sacrificing quality
In conjunction with the Project Manager formalise an in-house and on-site installation programme. Identify key dates, review resources required to complete work within time scale identified.
Use your technical managerial and planning skills to coordinate the design, manufacture and installation of your project
Manage the resources, ensuring all appropriate product, equipment and supplies are on site when required
Responsible for workplace health and safety and preparation of project Site Specific Safety Plan/Method Statements in conjunction with our subcontractors
Together with our Project Manager you will manage the relationship with the Main Contractor, consultants, and clients
Prevent/mitigate risk of contractual disputes with main contractors and subcontract suppliers
Assist our QS team by providing required information on extras and variations
Mentor and train staff on each product type installed
Provide project specific QA/QC during installation
Regularly report on the progress of your project, highlighting risks, issues and remedial action
To be successful in this role, you will:
Be a true collaborator and problem solver
Be great at managing your stakeholders, both internal and external
Have solid planning and organisation skills
Have an in-depth knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and practices and Quality Management
Have a minimum of 5 years construction experience
