We recycle 100% of our uncontaminated soft plastics. It is important to note that only plastics with no chemical or waste contamination are accepted.
In our manufacturing operations soft plastics are most frequently used to wrap and protect product in storage or during freight. Each of our operations in Auckland, Christchurch and Wellington use local companies who collect and facilitate the recycling of soft plastics.
Our Levin factory uses the services of a small, but innovative, local Levin plastic recycling business - where soft plastic such as pallet wrap, scaffold wrap, timber wrap and HDPE 2 containers are processed and made into a variety of other products namely, buckets, Tuff tiles, garden edging, plastic tubes etc.
