Design & Project Management

Our in-house Project Managers, CAD engineers and Registered Structural & Façade Engineers work closely alongside the client, architects, engineers and other consultants to provide critical technical specialty knowledge that provides a working, buildable warrantable façade whilst taking into account budgetary requirements, aesthetics and unique site and access conditions.

This totally integrated service provides the engineering and producer statement generation and shop drawings required for specific design projects. We believe that this service reduces documentation time and provides for a faster compliance pathway for peer reviewing where required, and building consent.

We offer this service as early sub contractor involvement (ECI or ECE Engagement) for construction documentation prior to consent, assisting with technical detailing across the full range of our systems, this ensures that we are able to provide specific engineered suite and system solutions to effectively meet your designs.

Our world leading CAD/CAM equipment enables extrusions, sheet and plate metal to be cut to the highest level of precision allowing complex manufacturing to incredibly small tolerances. Our in-house ability to undertake all the manufacturing processes of the façade, including a full sheet metal workshop, presses, automatic folders, welding, wet jet profiling, bed & wall routing as well as custom designed material handling systems – and most importantly, with experienced people in every position.


Our in-house professional structural and façade engineers specifically assess each façade design for structural and environmental (seismic and wind) loading, and ensure that the façade solution and built in condition meets code requirements.

We have designed several thousand extrusions and many thousands of specific engineered solutions to meet the aesthetic intent of our client’s design and imposed engineering challenges.

Our extrusions are supplied locally by quality assured architectural extruders and surface finishes to ensure only the highest quality materials are used in our production.


As buildings become more complex and adventurous in shape and form, so does the challenge for the installation of the façade. Thermosash believes that the successful completion of projects within scheduled requirements demands innovative solutions on site. To facilitate this, we constantly reinvest in our machinery and plant and have a wide range of the latest equipment to assist with the installation of façades to tight tolerances.

We are able to minimise time that a tower crane is required for installation of the façade, and on low rises we can often do away with the need all together, due to utilizing our unique lifting and launching equipment.
