Thermosash completed the total facade reclad on the then National Mutual tower in 1998 using the Thermosash 'Doughnut'. This system acts as a full wrap around movable scaffold system. The Doughnut has been used many times since on other buildings around New Zealand, enabling two floors to be worked on at the same time whilst providing protection from the weather - allowing the floors to be operational at the time of façade replacement (workstations and temporary wall created 2 mtrs from building edge) to allow fixing work to be undertaken and finishing work to be completed.
