An exemplary project housing some of New Zealand's and the Worlds greatest art works - housed in a building of equal consideration from the Architects and constructors.

The Auckland Art Gallery Toi o Tamaki is the 2013 Winner of the Best building at the World Architecture Festival - held in Singapore.

Also a 2012 winner of the top prize in New Zealand architecture - the New Zealand Architecture Medal. The award was presented to the Gallery's architects, Sydney-based fjmt and Auckland-based Archimedia. The building also received the top prize in the NZIOB 2012 awards - awarded to Hawkins and the Project Manager Grant Thomas.
